Welcome to my home its that time of the year when I start to plan for the Christmas holiday season and for me now is the time to share my Christmas decorating Ideas with you. 

This is my hallway so this is going to be my main entrance to welcome my guest, so here I am going to dress the door frame in a theme I have chosen. When starting to plan your holiday decor its always a good Idea to remove any items in the area your working on so this gives you a blank Canvas. 

Ok first of all with my display I am using two green garlands as I could not get one huge garland, but this is ok because here I am going to joining them together so this looks like one large garland, this will start from floor right up to the top of door frame and along the edge, I did not want to do a compleate frame display as this will over power the hall way. 

Now that I have chosen the display theme I want to use, so this is going to be Katherine's Collection fairy tale theme display with Edwardian theme too, when doing a display have fun creating and remember if your themes are not looking how you want them to look, don't worry you can redo this as practice makes perfect!! I love working with Katherine's Collection ornaments so I have started to dress the garland with large Christmas decorations for example Edwardian Swans and phantom masks, its starting to take shape. 

My Christmas garland is starting to come along and starting to look just the way I planned this to look, It took me two attempts to get this display just right, with mystical unicorn horse's with fairies hanging from the top part of the garland I was getting so excited I was even playing Christmas music to keep me in the mood.

My holiday garland is now complete with Edwardian hanging swans in lavish detail and Nutcracker baubles with beautiful Christmas  trims, and lavish Chantilly shoes with lace detail, this has made the garland look fuller just the way I wanted this to turn out, there are so many christmas ornaments to choose from when decorating a garland.
